I found this Giant Walking Stick hanging out on our porch this evening. She (the larger of the species) was around 4-inches long!
I snapped a few pics before she wandered off.

There's something special about redheads and a secrete unspoken bond between them. We're a rare breed, only 1% of the human population are redheads, so consider yourself lucky if you see one.
Cate and Gabriella are the daughters of Jeannine Guerra. One redhead child is rare, two redheads are very rare. Jeannine also has two boys, Noel and Oliver, and Noel is a redhead! What are the chances?
Ali and Rex were married May 20th at Mercury Hall in Austin. They first met at Debate Camp when Ali was 15-years-old. Rex threw his hat at Ali and it was love ever after.
Their wedding was lovely; the sun was smiling down on Ali and Rex as they spoke their vows. The air was sprinkled with the smell of wild flowers and the music of a six-string guitar and double bass.
Ali and Rex are an electric couple; their passion runneth over! We were most touched by a moment when Rex kissed his father, Lawrence, on the top of his head -- a sign of respect, love, and gratitude.

Shannon and Michael were married with their three young children by their side. We are particularly fond of their kids ages 10, 8, and 5 because they are all redheads, just like us!
We were able to make these amazing photos of Shannon and Michael thanks to the butterfly garden and playground behind the church. This wedding was a lot of fun because Shannon and Michael were willing to experiment to get these unique photos.
We wish this playful family many more years of happiness.
Rosanna and Austin's wedding was fabulous. They were married at St. Anthony's and the reception was held on Randolf Air FOrce Base which gave us the opportunity to get these unique images.
Rosanna's father, Rosendo, is retired from the Air Force where he had a distinguished career and Rosanna's sister, Daniela will be married next year to Jorge Ramirez. Jorge is also serving his country in the U.S. Air Force.
You can view the engagement video featuring Daniela and Jorge under the Video section on reflectAustin.com!
Rosanna is a classic beauty; she has an irresistible style and personality. It was obvious to us that Rosanna needed a dramatic look for her Bridal photos so we took her to our studio on SoCo.
While her parents and sister looked on we took Rosanna through a shoot seemingly inspired by the movie classic Gone with the Wind.
Helping Rosanna from the sidelines was her sister Daniela who will be married less than a year from now. Rosanna received a $100 credit toward prints from Pictag.com for referring her sister to us as part of our ongoing referral program!
Catherine's best friend, Katie, was in town on business and we had an impromtu photo shoot on the front lawn.
Truman and Travers are fraternal twin boys. They were born on April 21 of this year. As you can se they are absolutely adorable.
During our shoot at their mother's local children's specialty shop on SoCo, Truman was up and down like a yo-yo. Not that you can blame him, two weeks prior he was in the womb. While Travers slept Truman took advantage of his camera time. We made a ton of photos of him on all of the beautiful fabrics that his mother has around the shop.
Then it was Travers' turn. Now that is a wild child; he slept through the entire shoot!
Maggie N Me is co-owned by Maggie and Abby (the "Me" in Maggie N Me and the mother of Travers and Truman). You can find them online at http://www.maggieNme.com
